Welcome to Wisdom Counseling Equine Assisted Psychotherapy
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) is a mental health treatment approach that experientially incorporates horses for emotional growth and learning.

Participants can question, investigate, experiment, problem-solve, be creative and build self-awareness that transcends the horse arena.
The Importance of EAGALA
Wisdom Counseling employs the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Model (EAGALA) of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP). EAGALA provides the standards and structure to assure that clients, horses and facilitators remain safe during treatment. Note that all Wisdom Counseling therapists are certified to provide EAP/EAL by EAGALA.
